AI Chemical Data Annotator
Chemistry - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
As an AI Chemical Data Annotator, you'll be crucial in building the foundational knowledge for AI systems to understand and process chemical information. Your work will be data-intensive, requiring precision and a solid understanding of chemical principles.
Your contributions will include:
- Structuring Chemical Information: Annotating chemical structures, reactions, properties, and experimental data to make it machine-readable.
- Validating AI-Generated Hypotheses: Assessing the accuracy and plausibility of AI-generated chemical hypotheses or predictions.
- Reviewing Scientific Literature: Identifying and extracting key chemical insights from scientific papers and databases for AI training.
- Providing Expert Feedback: Offering nuanced feedback on AI outputs related to chemical synthesis, drug discovery, or materials science.
Who We're Looking For
We seek individuals with a strong background in chemistry and excellent analytical capabilities. Ideal candidates often possess:
- A degree (Associate's or higher) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency in interpreting chemical diagrams, formulas, and scientific terminology.
- Familiarity with chemical databases or software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
Compensation
Payment rates for core project work by chemistry specialists typically range from 32 USD per hour in the US. Rates may vary based on your specific expertise (e.g., organic synthesis vs. analytical chemistry), skill assessments, project requirements, and other factors. Full payment terms will be provided for each project.
