About the Role

As an AI Machine Learning Data Curator, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the integrity and usability of data for various machine learning tasks. Your work will directly impact the learning capabilities and performance of AI models.

Your contributions will include:

Data Cleaning & Preprocessing: Identifying and correcting errors, inconsistencies, and missing values within large datasets.
Dataset Normalization: Standardizing data formats and scales to ensure compatibility and optimal performance for machine learning algorithms.
Feature Selection & Engineering Support: Collaborating with data scientists to identify and prepare relevant features for model training.
Data Labeling & Annotation: Accurately labeling and categorizing raw data (e.g., images, text, audio) according to specific project guidelines for supervised learning.
Data Governance & Quality Control: Implementing and maintaining data quality standards throughout the data lifecycle for ML projects.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for individuals with a strong understanding of data structures, keen attention to detail, and a foundational grasp of machine learning concepts. Ideal candidates often possess:

A degree (Associate's or higher) in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
Experience with data manipulation tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python with Pandas).
Familiarity with different data types (structured, unstructured) and their challenges.
Strong analytical skills to identify data quality issues and propose solutions.
Prior experience in data cleaning, data entry, or quality assurance is a plus.

Compensation

Payment rates for core project work by ML data curators typically range from 30 to 40 USD per hour in the US, varying based on the complexity of the data, the specific tools required, and your demonstrated expertise in data quality. Full payment terms will be provided for each project.
