About the Role

As an AI Historical Research Analyst, you will play a vital role in validating and augmenting AI's understanding of historical events, figures, and trends. Your work will involve deep dives into historical data and a critical evaluation of AI-generated content.

Your contributions will include:

• Fact-Checking Historical Narratives: Verifying the accuracy of AI-generated historical accounts, dates, and events.
• Providing Contextual Nuance: Adding or correcting historical context to AI responses, ensuring proper interpretation of past events.
• Annotating Primary & Secondary Sources: Labeling and categorizing historical documents, artifacts, or academic texts to train AI.
• Identifying Historical Bias: Recognizing and mitigating potential biases in AI interpretations of historical data.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for individuals with a strong academic background in history and excellent research capabilities. Ideal candidates often possess:

• A degree (Associate's or higher) in History, Archival Studies, Humanities, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience with historical research methods and source analysis.
• Ability to critically evaluate information and identify historical inaccuracies.
• Excellent written communication skills to provide clear feedback and context.

Compensation

Payment rates for core project work by historical research specialists typically range from 30 USD per hour in the US. Rates may vary based on your historical specialization (e.g., ancient history vs. modern history), academic background, and project needs. Full payment terms will be provided for each project.
