About the Role

As an AI Mathematical Modeler, you will be instrumental in ensuring the logical soundness and accuracy of AI outputs related to quantitative problems. Your work will involve deep engagement with mathematical concepts and their practical application in AI.

Your contributions will include:

  • Validating AI Solutions: Reviewing AI-generated solutions to complex mathematical problems, identifying errors, and suggesting improvements.
  • Developing & Refining Algorithms: Contributing to the conceptual design and mathematical formulation of new AI algorithms or enhancing existing ones.
  • Data Analysis for Model Performance: Analyzing quantitative data to assess AI model performance, identify biases, and pinpoint areas for optimization.
  • Creating Test Cases: Designing intricate mathematical scenarios and datasets to rigorously test AI model capabilities and limitations.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for individuals with a strong foundation in mathematics and exceptional analytical skills. Ideal candidates often possess:

  • Advanced coursework or a degree (Bachelor's or higher) in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field from an accredited institution.
  • Proven ability to understand, analyze, and articulate complex mathematical concepts.
  • Experience with mathematical software (e.g., MATLAB, Wolfram Alpha, Python libraries like NumPy/SciPy) is a plus.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Compensation

Payment rates for core project work by mathematical experts typically range from 45 USD per hour in the US, reflecting the specialized nature of the work. Rates may vary based on your level of expertise (e.g., PhDs may command higher rates), skill assessments, project complexity, and other factors. Full payment terms will be provided for each project.
